How to evaluate a startup
After several failed startups and investing my personal savings (I wrote about it here), one of which hit a market ceiling (I wrote about it here), I asked myself, how can I understand if a new idea is worth pursuing? Is it the right market? The team? The financial business model? What about marketing and sales? Can I create a good product? And how can I raise money?
All of these questions need to be asked before starting a project.
Here is the complete list, “The Startup Checklist,” consisting of 100 bullet points from Jason Calacanis (angel investor in Robinhood, Wealthfront, Uber, Desktop Metal, Datastax, Thumbtack, Superhuman, Calm and Trello) and the team at LAUNCH that will help get your startup off the ground.
You’re welcome.
